Latest News 4th. December 2010   As from 1st.January 2010 Framlingham College will be taking over the running of the pool from Framlingham Swimming Club.  Your Standing Orders will remain effective.  Annual Members may continue to swim as the Club will pass over to the College payments already made for January to April.  Payments for the year (2010-2011) will be arranged with you by the College.

The Swimming Club welcomes this development as the College will be able to offer a comprehensive range of fitness activities, including squash and a gym.  The College is also eager to provide more sessions and, as they will be continuing to employ our lifeguards and provide permanent desk staff, there should be no sessions cancelled without warning.

The Club Committee wish you all 'Good Swimming' in the future. If we had continued to 1st. May, we would have provided swimming in Framlingham for a complete ten years. We have had more than six hundred members through our books in that time. After a difficult couple of year the Club became financially very successful and there will be a substantial amount of money to hand over to the Sports Club, who have given us support over more that ten years, most of it during the setting-up period.

As from Thursday 14-Jan the pool is up and running.
